TeqHire will collect, track and analyze such information in an aggregate manner that does not personally identify you. This aggregate data may be used by TeqHire and third party vendors to assist TeqHire in operating the Site and the Services and provided to other third parties to enable them to better understand the operation of TeqHire’s business, but such information will be in aggregate form only and it will not contain personally identifiable data. Information Related to Data Collected through TeqHire Services
TeqHire collects information under the direction of its employer customers, and has an intermediary relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. Part of the Services offered by our employer customers includes providing notice to their employees and to potential job-seekers concerning how their personal information is collected and used. The resume or job application that a job-seeker submits will be provided only to the specific potential employers that the job-seeker has already given TeqHire permission to share information with for potential job mandate.
TeqHire engages vendors and service agencies to assist us in providing the Services to you, and TeqHire will need to share your personally identifiable information (and data generated by cookies and beacons) with these vendors and service agencies. We may transfer personal information to these vendors and service agencies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Customers. The vendors and service agencies do not receive any right to use your personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to perform its obligations to provide the Services to you. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, TeqHire will not disclose personally identifiable information to third parties, including, but not limited to, companies affiliated with TeqHire, without your consent.
Choice and Access to Data Controlled by Our Customers
TeqHire has a direct relationship with job-seekers whose personal data it processes on behalf of our customers. Individuals have an account set up under their email address that associates all applications for that individual with that email address. The individual can access their account at the Site and transmit requests to the TeqHire to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data in an application. TeqHire is responsible for complying with the individual’s request. In accordance with applicable law, TeqHire retains an archive copy of the individual’s data for the period prescribed by such law.
Information Disclosure for Legal and Other Exceptional Reasons
We may also disclose your personally identifiable information: (a) if we are required to do so by Icelandic law, in cooperation with an investigation of a governmental authority.
Data Retention
TeqHire retains personal information and the personal data we process on behalf of our customers for as long as needed to provide the Services to customers and job-seekers enrolled in those Services. We will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements with customers, and/or the period required by laws in applicable jurisdictions.
Where is my Information stored?
All personal data submitted through the TeqHire recruiting system is stored on our private secure servers in the European Union at a Hetzner Online GmbH Datacenter located in Nuremberg Germany.
How secure is my Information?
TeqHire is committed to protecting the security of your information and takes reasonable precautions to protect it. However, Internet data transmissions, whether wired or wireless, cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and as a result, we cannot ensure the security of Information you transmit to us, including Personal Data and User Content; accordingly, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk.
TeqHire uses industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit. This is commonly referred to as transport layer security (“TLS”) or secure socket layer (“SSL”) technology.
